We were never big supporters of the highly regulated diamond industry that gives the general public the idea that diamonds are rare and valuable. We believe that what gives an item value is the history and what that item means to us personally. Purchasing a diamond from the store neither has a meaningful history nor does it have any personal attachment to us. Heart In Diamond has changed the diamond industry and has made diamonds really worth something valuable.
When our black toy furry poodle child, Orchid, passed from a collapsed trachea, my wife was inconsolable and we had a hard time coping with this unexpected event. Both of us were not home and the guilt that we felt of not being there in his time of need was unbearable. During our time of mourning, our friend had recommended us to Heart in Diamond and we were hesitant at first, but after reading about what the company is about and talking to Claire, we knew that this is what we wanted. Instead of keeping our beloved furry son in a jar somewhere gathering dust, we thought that that he will never again be alone even after passing and made him into black diamonds for the wedding rings we previously decided not to get. He will now always be with us and we will always be with him.
We do not believe diamonds are forever, but we do believe Orchid in diamonds are forever.
